Libby Hod
Undergraduate Volunteer
Libby is a junior at Columbia University studying Neuroscience and Behavior as well as Dance Studies. She is dedicated to enhancing the accessibility and effectiveness of mental healthcare on a broader scale. Libby has contributed to the development of an online mental health curriculum with the NJ Institute of Health Teen Prevention Education Program. Libby aspires to conduct research in adolescent mental health, with a focus on treatment development and addressing barriers to care for individuals with comorbid diagnoses. Libby intends to pursue a PhD in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. In her free time, Libby can be found ballroom dancing. CV

Liz Xu
Undergraduate Volunteer
Liz is a sophomore at Barnard College studying Psychology. She is passionate about both clinical and experimental psychology, and specifically interested in developing accessible interventions for adolescents struggling with mental health. Outside of academic settings, Liz interacts closely with children through tutoring services, and in her free time, she enjoys playing and developing video games. In the future, Liz plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology. -

Bella Choi

Bella is a junior at Barnard College studying psychology on the pre-med track. She is passionate about child and adolescent mental health care and particularly interested in fostering culturally competent interventions to support diverse populations. Outside of the classroom, Bella works closely with children through teaching, babysitting, and mentoring. She hopes to pursue a career in pediatric medicine in the future. In her free time, she loves to run, bake, and try new cafes. CV

Saisha Pal
Youth Contributor
Saisha is a high-school researcher passionate about connecting computational mathematics, neuroscience, and mental health. Her work involves reinforcement-learning models, behavioral neuroscience, and digital mental-health analysis, and focuses on how computational methods can explain patterns in reasoning, cognition, and emotional well-being. Along with research, she leads youth mental health advocacy efforts through Speak to Lead and AIM Youth Mental Health, most recently hosting an international mental health conference. She has presented her research through university-level programs and has been invited to present her mental health advocacy work at Harvard University. Saisha is also developing a student-led initiative, Emerging Researchers Incubator: Data & Discovery, to mentor youth in research design and data analysis. Outside of her academic and advocacy work, Saisha is a classically trained vocalist who has performed at Carnegie Hall.

Anika Sundar

Anika Sundar is a high school student at The Quarry Lane School (Class of 2028) with a strong interest in the intersection of public policy and mental health. She participated in the AIM Ideas Lab, a youth research initiative focused on improving adolescent mental health in California, where she helped design and conduct a statewide survey of teens’ mental health challenges and presented the findings at a local community event to raise awareness. In addition to her research in mental health, she works in a cancer biology wet lab to gain experience in molecular biology and drug design. She hopes to pursue a career that integrates clinical research and public policy to expand access to effective mental health care. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, photography, and playing the violin.
